Jeffree Star Cosmetics Brand
I finally went online to Amazon and ordered the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks*. I haven’t tried any Jeffree Star Cosmetics products until now, and I don’t know why it took me so long. Jeffree Star Cosmetics is verified cruelty-free by PETA and Leaping Bunny, so you can be 100% sure that your products haven’t harmed any animals in the process. I purchased three shades of the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks. The first one I chose was Gemini*, the second was the popular Unicorn Blood* shade, and the third was Celebrity Skin*. I’ll review the packaging, longevity, applicator, consistency, and shades!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick packaging
The Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick packaging is bright and pops with color. The box is bright pink with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics logo, which is recognizable. The end of the box has the shade name and a box of colors. The lipstick is in a clear bottle which is great because you can see exactly how much product you have left. Before applying the lipstick, I prepare my lips with a Lush Lip Scrub. Matte lipsticks, predominantly liquid lipsticks, can dry out your lips, so it is vital to take care of them! The lipstick applicator is quite different from my other liquid lipsticks. It’s a lot more slanted, so it curves to fit your lips perfectly, making it easy to apply. It genuinely glides on. I’ve been wearing lipstick without lip liner, which looks flawless
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick consistency
The consistency of the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick is so lovely. It feels skinny and light, yet it doesn’t require more than one layer on the lips. I can’t feel it when I am wearing it, which I love too, though I forget I’m wearing lipstick when I am about to eat sometimes. It dries matte almost instantly, which is great for when you’re in a rush! I have tested these lipsticks from 12 pm to 10 pm, and the lasting power is pretty good. After eating, the lipstick doesn’t rub off too much at all. It can go unnoticed! I reapply anyway, but I only need a thin layer on my bottom lip. I would give the longevity of the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks a nine out of ten.
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick pigmentation
The pigmentation of the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks is purely brilliant; they are boasting with color. However, the color you see in the lipstick in the packaging is lighter than what appears on the lips. I expected Gemini* to be a dusky rose nude color, but it is a lot darker. I still love it, but it isn’t what I was expecting. Just remember that when purchasing!
Want to wipe it out? I’ve used the Mary Kay Micellar Water and removed it with no worries with one or two strikes of a soaked cotton pad.

Remember that every person’s skin and skin type is different, so what might work for me might not work for you, and vice versa. So before trying a new product, it pays to do a little research first. Pay special attention to ingredients that you might react to.
The Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks were purchased by me with my own money.
