There’s a new Korean skincare brand on the block – and it’s one unlike any other! This brand might have only popped into your radar this year. Or, if you’re familiar with Korean skincare, you’ve likely heard of Numbuzin.

My fellow beauty editors from Garden of Muses and I tried everything from this new Seoul-based Korean hyped-up skincare brand. I have taken the task of writing a guide to all the products available from Numbuzin for you since I have a little obsession with this brand.

Numbuzin is a Korean skincare brand I’ve loved a lot lately. So much so a crazy number of Numbuzin products are part of my skincare routine!

The Numbuzin Brand

Numbuzin entered the Korean market in 2019 with a whole line of serums. I have noticed many of its products taking off this year. Numbuzin is also a global brand that ships to many countries worldwide.

Their products are pretty affordable in terms of pricing– in line with COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, and Isntree.

The brand’s slogan is “What’s your number?”. Instead of complicated names, Numbuzin products have numbers representing a specially designed treatment for a specific skin problem.

Numbuzin is focused on developing practical solutions to various skin problems rather than packaging and complex names. Numbuzin uses expensive Korean ingredients for more effective skincare.

Numbuzin states you just have to find your number and enjoy the benefits of honest and effective skincare.

Numbuzin uses natural ingredients and innovative formulas to create products that nourish, hydrate, soothe, and brighten your skin. The packaging of Numbuzin’s skincare products is minimalist and straightforward, which complements their philosophy of natural ingredients.

In all these short numbuzin reviews, I have taken my time and noted the comedogenic ingredients to make it easier for you to spot something that would break you out. Please remember that Butylene Glycol is an ingredient hard to avoid in Korean skincare products, with the lowest rating of 1 out of 5 comedogenicity.

Where to Shop Numbuzin?

Numbuzin no longer has an official online store, but most of its products are available at its official retailers. Check out our editor’s guide to shopping for Korean skincare.

Numbuzin Cleansers

Numbuzin No. 1 Easy Peasy Cleansing Oil

Numbuzin No. 1 Easy Peasy Cleansing Oil Review
Numbuzin Easy Peasy Cleansing Oil by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin Easy Peasy Cleansing Oil is a gentle yet effective cleanser that removes makeup, dirt, and impurities from my skin without stripping. It contains natural emollients such as corn oil, macadamia seed oil, and sunflower seed oil that nourish and hydrate my skin.

It also has a refreshing citrus scent that invigorates your senses and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Numbuzin Easy Peasy Cleansing Oil is the first step of your double cleansing routine. Massage two oil pumps onto your dry face and rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with a water-based cleanser for a thorough and deep cleansing. This cleansing oil has three highly comedogenic ingredients; therefore, I don’t recommend it to those with acne-prone skin.

Comedogenic ingredients: Isopropyl Myristate (5/5), Ethylhexyl Palmitate (4/5), Zea mays oil (3/5).

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 3 Pore & Makeup Cleansing Balm with Green Tea and Charcoal Review
Numbuzin No.3 Pore & Makeup Cleansing Balm with Green Tea and Charcoal
by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No.3 Cleansing Balm is a gentle cleansing balm enriched with Green Tea and Charcoal. It eliminates the need for double cleansing.

As many of you know, I am an absolute cleanser junkie, so this new release was exciting. This is Numbuzin’s first cleansing balm, and I must admit that it has been making a regular appearance in my skincare routine.

The Numbuzin No. 3 Pore & Makeup Cleansing Balm with Green Tea and Charcoal has been enjoyable in almost every aspect of use – from the opening of the jar when you get that whiff of pleasant natural smell to the way the balm melts on the complexion.

Finally, to the beautiful lit-from-within glow this amazing balm gives as it washes off effortlessly, I might add… no cloth required. I’ve been using this so much that I have nearly run out and have since repurchased. I’ve quickly fallen in love with the Numbuzin cleansing balm – so much so that I would say it’s at Holy Grail status.

I’m happy to note that, unlike many popular cleansing balms, I love that the Numbuzin No.3 Cleansing Balm is environmentally friendly as it does not contain polyethylene.

It’s ideal for everyone but excellent if you have clogged pores.

Numbuzin No. 1 Pure-Full Calming Herb Toner

Numbuzin No. 1 Pure-Full Calming Herb Toner
Numbuzin No. 1 Pure-Full Calming Herb Toner by Mateo Sanchez for Garden of Muses

We Like

  • Nice when layered;
  • Safe for acne and fungal acne;
  • No EOs, fragrance, or alcohol.

We Don’t Like

  • Not the most hydrating toner I’ve ever tried.

I recently purchased this toner that came highly recommended by several people, and I have to say it did not disappoint. This toner boasts a minimalist ingredient list, making it an excellent option for sensitive or hyper-sensitive skin.

The first three ingredients are Cica, Heartleaf, and Licorice root, known for their calming properties. As someone with easily irritated skin, I was relieved that this toner immediately reduced skin irritation and redness.

The star ingredient of the Numbuzin No. 1 No.1 Pure-Full Calming Herb Toner is Centella Asiatica or Gotu Kola. Centella is among the most popular ingredients in Korean skincare products due to its powerful antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s a fantastic ingredient for soothing red and inflamed skin.

Centella Asiatica:

Houttuynia Cordata Extract is listed as the second ingredient, which:

One thing to note is that while the toner is hydrating, it may not be enough with just one layer. However, it is lightweight, making it easy to layer. I found that additional layers made my skin feel plumper and more hydrated.

For those concerned with redness, irritation, damaged skin, and acne, I highly recommend this toner.

Numbuzin No.2 Thermal Water 89% Mineral Toner

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No.2 Thermal Water 89% Mineral Toner
Numbuzin No.2 Thermal Water 89% Mineral Toner by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

The Numbuzin No.2 Thermal Water 89% Mineral Toner comprises 89% thermal water and five types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin deeply. The niacinamide and the gentle PHA help even out my skin tone, giving it a radiant color and improving the skin’s overall condition.

Moreover, the Numbuzin Thermal Water Mineral toner has an incredible blend of hydrating and soothing herbal ingredients.

Chamomile, an age-old skincare ingredient, is excellent for individuals with duller, dehydrated, inelastic, and troubled skin. This is attributable to phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and glucosides inside the flower, which carry antioxidizing and skin-soothing benefits. It is also a skin conditioner that enhances the appearance of dehydrated or damaged skin by reducing flakiness and restoring suppleness.

Rosemary has strong antioxidant properties and can calm the skin. It can cause skin sensitivities if used in higher concentrations due to the essential oils it contains.

Licorice is one of my all-time favorite botanical extracts. It has been used in traditional medicine for over 4,000 years. And the Numbuzin No.2 toner has it! Licorice is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that evens skin tone and soothes sensitive skin.

Japanese knotweed has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is a fantastic natural source of the potent polyphenolic antioxidant trans-resveratrol, the most bio-available form of resveratrol.

Chinese skullcap is a flowering plant native to China with roots high in plant flavones – compounds with soothing properties. It may also be effective at fading hyperpigmentation, although studies have only been in vitro (studies on intact human skin are still needed).

Green tea has many benefits for the skin. It is high in polyphenols, giving it potent antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. Research also suggests that green tea can improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin.

This is the reformulation of the Numbuzin No. 2 Makeup Boosting Toner. I liked the old version, and I’m thrilled they improved it even more by removing that annoying scent of roses. The texture of the renewed one has also become less sticky, which is a plus for me. This thermal water toner is my go-to for makeup preparation.

The Numbuzin No. 2 toner has no comedogenic ingredients except for Butylene Glycol (1/5), which is hard to avoid in Korean skincare products.

It’s ideal for those looking for a good makeup base.

Numbuzin No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner contains 50 fermented ingredients to brighten and firm dull, tired skin. This potent toner prepares and hydrates the skin and has all the nourishing properties of an essence. The revitalizing formula reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. If you like ferments, read my Numbuzin No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner review.

The toner has a thicker, luxurious consistency, soaks right in, and leaves a nice glow. It made my skin look less dull and more plump. It also provides a lot of hydration, so I recommend using it at night unless you have dry skin. It’s worth trying if you aren’t sensitive to fermented ingredients or fragrances.

I have gone through 3 bottles, so you can probably tell I love it. I’m currently on my fourth and have a backup.

Numbuzin No. 4 Pore Zero Peeled Egg Toner Pad

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 4 Pore Zero Peeled Egg Toner Pad
Numbuzin No. 4 Pore Zero Peeled Egg Toner Pad by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

No. 4 Pore Zero Peeled Egg Toner Pad contains Anti Sebum P with evening primrose, arrowroot, and pine leaf extracts.

These pads contain PHA (Gluconolactone), the most gentle chemical exfoliator. PHAs have larger molecules than AHAs, with lesser skin penetration ability. However, it works great for sensitive skin that can’t tolerate AHAs. Unlike AHAs, the best thing about PHA is that it doesn’t increase photosensitivity.

The other mild acid in these pads is LHA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid), a derivative of Salicylic acid that lifts dead skin cells off the skin’s surface. It is non-comedogenic and anti-bacterial.

No. 4 Pore Zero Peeled Egg Toner Pads remove excess sebum and impurities from the skin and refresh the skin. The embossed side gently removes excess sebum and dead skin cells, while the other moisturizes the skin. When I use them regularly, my pores are less likely to clog.

The Numbuzin No. 4 Pore Zero Peeled Egg Toner Pad toner has no comedogenic ingredients except Butylene Glycol (1/5).

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 3 Pore Reset Ampoule Shot
Numbuzin No. 3 Pore Reset Ampoule Shot by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No. 3 Pore Reset Ampoule Shot is an ampoule that treats enlarged pores and problem skin and improves uneven skin tone. So many pore-decongesting products my readers tend to reach for are way too harsh, causing skin upset to worsen and introducing a slew of new problems (redness, peeling, etc.). I love that this ampoule is efficient but also skin-calming.

Third on the ingredients list is Niacinamide. Several well-documented studies show that when used topically, niacinamide can:

Numbuzin No. 3 Skin Softening Serum

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No.3 Skin Softening Serum
Numbuzin No. 3 Skin Softening Serum by Mia Peterson for Garden of Muses

I’ve been using it for about two months and noticed improved skin texture and overall skin health.

I had a light purge in the first week. It was not strong enough to immediately stop using, but just enough for me to be annoyed and worry it wouldn’t work. But once it cleared up, my skin was brighter and softer and kept improving.

It may have also helped with fine lines. I don’t know how, but they seem smoother and less noticeable. Probably, the Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate hydrates the skin, improves skin elasticity, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. The light formula deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin, giving it an even color.

I don’t usually bring it with me when I travel, and whenever I come home, I can tell it is doing something for me because the quality of my skin drops a bit.

If your skin texture concerns you, please read Mia’s Numbuzin No. 3 Skin Softening Serum honest review.

Numbuzin No. 4 Collagen 73% Pudding Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No. 4 Collagen 73% Pudding Serum is an anti-aging serum that contains 73% collagen to firm, hydrate, and plump tired skin. Ingredients such as hydrolyzed elastin, eight types of hyaluronic acid, and adenosine make the skin smooth, supple, and hydrated.

  • Anti-Wrinkle Benefits. Adenosine stimulates collagen production and down-regulates collagen degradation.
  • Skin restoration. Adenosine promotes dermal wound healing and tissue repair.
  • Soothing. Adenosine decreases inflammation of the skin often experienced by people with sensitive skin or acne.

Numbuzin No. 5 Goodbye Blemish Serum

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 5 Goodbye Blemish Serum Review
Numbuzin No. 5 Goodbye Blemish Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No. 5 Goodbye Blemish Serum claims to fight the visible signs of aging and brightens and restores moisture to the skin. The mild formula minimizes irritation and leaves a non-greasy finish.

The Numbuzin Blemish serum’s star ingredient is sea buckthorn extract. Sea buckthorn has been shown to improve skin hydration, trans-epidermal water loss, and skin barrier function when used long-term. Sea buckthorn is also known to comprise vitamins C and E and many other beneficial compounds, such as carotenoids. Carotenoids protect the skin from cellular damage, thus an excellent ingredient for anti-aging. It also acts as a fantastic anti-inflammatory that works well for those with sensitive skin or prone to redness or breakouts.

This is not a product where I have any major concerns, but I have a few minor qualms worth sharing. The most obvious potential problem is this product has three citrus extracts in the top half of the ingredient list. The citrus scent is very present and potentially irritating to sensitive skin.

I bought this serum to get rid of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) from acne. Overall, it did help lighten them slightly. However, I feel that Melano CC does a better and faster job. The texture is nice, though, a liquid gel easily absorbed.

Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum

Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum Review
Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

We Like

  • Excellent option for sensitive skin or vitamin C first-time users;
  • Chock full of actives: three types of vitamin C;
  • Contains hydrating & soothing ingredients;
  • Opaque bottle prevents oxidation;
  • Widely available
  • Essential oil-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free.

We Don’t Like

  • Dropper bottle.

This is what I call a concentrated serum. First of all, it is chock full of active ingredients. It has everything you’d want from a serum (besides exfoliating acids):

  • The star ingredient is Lingonberry, an evergreen woody dwarf shrub that grows in northern temperate. It contains polyphenolics, vitamins, minerals, polysaccharides, free amino acids, and omega-3 fatty acids.
  • Niacinamide regulates sebum production, strengthening skin barriers and replenishing moisture. It works along adenosine to minimize the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles.
  • Three types of vitamin C, LAA, and two derivatives have brightening and anti-aging properties.
  • Tranexamic Acid, Alpha-Arbutin, Glutathione, and Licorice Root are other well-known ingredients for skin brightening.
  • Two types of Vitamin E increase skin elasticity and keep the skin moisturized.
  • Nine herbal extracts with antioxidant properties.
  • Ten humectant and moisturizing ingredients, including shea butter, ceramides, sodium hyaluronate, and glycerin.

There are so many amazing ingredients, right?! I love that this serum effectively combines all these great ingredients into one small bottle.

So, how did I feel after using it? At first, I noticed the scent was a bit off-putting, but then I researched and found out it’s actually from all the ingredients! (So you do have to be mindful of the scent.)

However, after using it for quite some time! I noticed how bouncy and easier it made for my makeup to apply, and all my little fine lines were slowly fading. I’m still yet to test to see if it removes my hyperpigmentation!

Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum before & after
Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum before & after by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

The serum’s texture is very smooth and creamy and easy to spread across the skin. It is lightly moisturizing and soaks into the skin very easily. If you have extremely oily skin, I could see not using a moisturizer afterward. On the other hand, nighttime is a great time to go overboard with hydration. Before using this one, I usually use a hydrating toner and/or serum and top it off with a few drops of a nice face oil like Lapis or Juno.

When I wake up after using the Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum, my skin is smooth, even-toned, hydrated, bright, and clear. I have never found this to clog my easily congested pores; I’m sure this has helped clear up congestion.

I hesitate to call the Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum a good “anti-aging” product because, to me, there’s a sense in which the concept of “anti-aging” is inevitably a little self-destructive, or at least unfriendly to yourself and the years you have earned by living them. But I would say this is a good serum for a well-lived life. As the years go by, your skin will want more of exactly what this serum offers. Be nice to your skin, and indulge in it.

If you want to double down on the fading hyperpigmentation, hydrating, wrinkle-smoothing, and firming powers of this serum, Numbuzin also makes a toner pad and a mask in the same line (I mean number :).

Who is it for? I’d recommend this serum to pretty much anybody; the stuff it’s made out of is just fantastic for skin at any stage. This combination of ingredients makes the Numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum especially well-suited to anyone whose skincare goals are increased collagen synthesis (which smooths out wrinkles and texture issues), healing and preventing sun damage, supporting the skin barrier, and hydration. Those goals are prevalent for more mature skin, but they’re nice things to aim for at any age.

Numbuzin No. 6 Deep Sleep Mask Serum

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 6 Deep Sleep Mask Serum Review
Numbuzin No. 6 Deep Sleep Mask Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No. 6 Deep Sleep Mask Serum is a serum mask designed to be used as a sleeping mask. It tones and combats dull skin tone with a high concentration of glacial water.

I use it now on nights when I feel I need a pick-me-up and extra moisture.

As someone who does not get much sleep, I was looking forward to this product the most, as many have mentioned that this product is hydrating and gives the illusion that the user is well-rested.

It did live up to expectations as the following day, after applying this, some fine lines seemed more filled in. I applied two layers of this serum to maximize its effects because I slept in an air-conditioned room and was afraid it would dry out my skincare.

Overall, this was my favorite numbuzin product out of everything I tried. However, I would not repurchase it as I have my eye on other serums, such as the Manyo Our Vegan Heartleaf Cica Serum. In the past, I have enjoyed the Wellage Ampoule, which was more affordable for similar results.

Numbuzin No 7. Mild Green Soothing Serum

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 7 Mild Green Soothing Review
Numbuzin No 7. Mild Green Soothing Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

No 7. Mild Green Soothing Serum provides an excellent soothing effect. It deeply hydrates skin with a watery gel texture, leaving a fresh, smooth, hydrated complexion.

It is enriched with 29 skin-soothing ingredients. Yes, 29! I think the conversation with the manufacturer went as follows:

Manufacturer: How many soothing herbal extracts do you want in this serum?

numbuzin: Yes

You can find thorough, detailed guides on the benefits of Centella Asiatica, Heartleaf, and Mugwort in skincare. The sacred lotus flower extract is a botanical extract that has been shown to have photoprotective effects against UVB exposure.

Numbuzin No 7. serum is also enriched with Chinese skullcap, a flowering plant native to China with roots high in plant flavones – compounds with soothing properties. Japanese knotweed has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is a fantastic natural source of the potent polyphenolic antioxidant trans-resveratrol, the most bio-available form of resveratrol.

Licorice is one of my all-time favorite botanical extracts used in traditional medicine for over 4,000 years. Licorice is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that evens skin tone and soothes sensitive skin.

Green tea is high in polyphenols, giving it potent antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. Rosemary has strong antioxidant properties and can calm the skin.

It can cause skin sensitivities if used in higher concentrations due to the essential oils it contains.

Numbuzin No. 8 Fine Cica Serum

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin no 8 Good Cica Serum Review
Numbuzin No. 8 Fine Cica Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

No. 8 Fine Cica Serum’s second ingredient is good old trusty glycerin. An ingredient that is often overlooked as an inexpensive or inelegant ingredient in skincare, but it is one of the best, most reliable humectants.

Glycerin is also probably the most well-known humectant. It:

  • Hydrates. Glycerin is a very effective humectant, used in many moisturizers to increase skin hydration.
  • Occurs naturally in your skin as part of its home-grown moisturizing system, the natural moisturizing factor (NMF).
  • Strengthens skin barrier. Glycerin also keeps the skin’s lipids flexible, strengthening your skin barrier.
  • Softens. Glycerin softens the skin so other hydrating ingredients can more easily penetrate the skin.
  • Reduces TEWL. Glycerin helps slow down transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Like other humectants, it works by sitting in the top layers of your skin and attracting water from the air and the deeper layers, leaving your skin surface plump and hydrated, even when the weather is arid.

The Fine Cica Serum has a rich, silky texture that gently revitalizes and soothes the skin thanks to its Centella Asiatica Extracts and constituents.

No. 8 Fine Cica Serum also contains Oligopeptide-1 & Oligopeptide-3, considered one of the best peptides, that stimulate collagen and assist in blending cells with substances like hyaluronic acid;

Regarding the cons, I’m a little worried about the number of silicones this serum contains.

My main concern with applying Numbuzin No. 8 Fine Cica Serum before a moisturizer is that the Numbuzin No. 8 Fine Cica Serum contains a high concentration of dimethicone, a silicone.

Silicons act as a barrier in cosmetics. They make the skin feel more smooth and are a gatekeeper to all previously applied skincare products. It is expected to see silicones in moisturizers, sleeping masks, and sunscreens because they are some of the last steps in a skincare routine. Consequently, the dimethicone in Numbuzin No. 8 Fine Cica Serum could interfere with the performance of the following skincare products. Moreover, due to the molecular structure of Dimethicone, it is much more comedogenic than other silicon.

Therefore, as a last skincare step, the Numbuzin No. 8 Fine Cica Serum could suit those with oily skin.

Numbuzin No. 9 Secret Firming Serum

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin no 9 Volume Secret Review
Numbuzin No. 9 Secret Firming Serum by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

No. 9’s formulation is somehow similar to No. 8’s. The Numbuzin No. 9 Secret Firming Serum also has superstar glycerin as a first ingredient. It is also blended with two types of peptides to restore skin elasticity and effectively improve the firmness of sagging skin.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, commonly called Argireline, is one of the most used peptides in anti-aging products, as it seems to be backed up by more research than other peptides in that domain.

It seems pretty interesting. The peptide works similarly to Botox by relaxing facial muscles. A study on ten healthy volunteers showed significantly more reduction in the depth of wrinkles for the Argireline group compared to placebo when Argireline was used as an emulsion formulated at 10% of the peptide.

My skin loves Numbuzin No.2 Cica Ceramide Repair Cream. It’s rich and creamy with glycerin, shea butter, and Centella Asiatica extract. Although it is called a ceramide cream, it only contains one ceramide, Ceramide NP. Ceramides are a family of lipids that account for 50% of the skin barrier (by weight), so they’re essential, right? Ceramides are crucial to:

  • Maintain the skin’s moisture levels
  • Protect skin from external irritants, making skin more resilient;
  • Help make skin more plump, juicy, radiant, and smooth;
  • Make skin tolerate chemical exfoliation much better;
  • Skin is less likely to become irritated;
  • Because they prevent dehydration, ceramides are a great anti-aging ingredient;
  • Regulate the cell cycle and apoptosis (regulated cell death);
  • Beneficial for all skin types.

If you want to learn more, here’s our detailed guide on ceramides.

Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence Review
Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence by Mia Peterson for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence is a chemical sunscreen with broad spectrum protection of SPF50+ PA++++. Licorice Root, Centella Asiatica, and Houttuynia Cordata are the list’s first three ingredients, making up almost 50% of this sun essence. These are potent anti-inflammatory and soothing herbs.

Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence is hydrating, moisturizing, calming, and soothing, giving me super healthy-looking skin. It absorbs fast, has no white cast, is lightweight, and is not greasy. It disappears into the skin and doesn’t pill with any of my foundations.

Please read Mia’s Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence in-depth review for a lengthy breakdown of the UV filters and overall formulation.

This sun essence is good for every skin type, especially for normal-combo people.

Numbuzin No. 2 Goodbye Redness Derma Tone Up

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 2 Goodbye Redness Derma Tone Up
Numbuzin No. 2 Goodbye Redness Derma Tone Up by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No. 2 Goodbye Redness Derma Tone Up is a tinted mineral sunscreen that provides full spectrum UVA/UVB protection with an SPF 50+ PA+++. I can say it’s another slay from numbuzin! I enjoy using it when I want to feel more polished.

I have been looking for a product like the Dr. Jart Cicapair color-correcting cream, but the problem with color-changing creams is that the pigment is always too dark for my pale skin and looks too orange.

This tone-up cream works heavenly on my skin despite being as lightweight as a moisturizer.

It has medium-level coverage, and I love how it uniforms my skin color. It makes me look like I have flawless skin without the look or feel of makeup. Probably because it is a mineral sunscreen, there is a bit of whiteness, but the green helps with the redness on my face.

The Goodbye Redness Derma Tone Up is similar to the Porcelain Base-Skip Tone Up Beige, but with more coverage and tone-up effect. The Goodbye Redness Derma Tone Up is a bit ashier due to the green undertone, but nothing crazy. It blends with your skin after some time.

It’s ideal if you are dealing with redness from acne or rosacea.

Comedogenic ingredients: Tocopherol (2/5), Stearic Acid (2/5), Dimethicone (1/5), Zinc Oxide (1/5)

Price: $13-$19

Numbuzin No. 3 Porcelain Base-Skip Tone Up Beige

Numbuzin Reviews - Numbuzin No. 3 Porcelain Base-skip Tone Up Beige Review
No. 3 Porcelain Base-Skip Tone Up Beige by Seo Yeon Lee for Garden of Muses

Numbuzin No. 3 Porcelain Base-Skip Tone Up Beige is a tone-up cream enhanced with a broad spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ sun protection. It has a high-tech, natural shade formula that helps hide pores and even skin tone for a radiant finish that lasts all day. This tone-up sunscreen soothes with botanical ingredients such as Centella Asiatica, Mugwort, Heartleaf, Green tea, and Chamomille extracts. It also contains Rosemary essential oil that could be potentially irritating. If you want to learn more about the possible side effects of essential oils in skincare, please check out our guide, Are Essential Oils Good or Bad for the Skin?

This tone-up sunscreen is an everyday makeup favorite because of its light coverage and added protection. Its lightweight formula makes it easy and quick to apply, perfect for a lazy makeup girl. The beige suits yellow-based Asian skin quite well, but I have seen this on pink skin tones, and the color still looks flattering due to its satin finish.

It is ideal for everyone except those with sensitive or peeling skin.
